Patient Testimonials

Because of bad experiences as a kid, I had not been to the dentist in 25 years; except for when I needed a tooth pulled or a filling.  However, I got to the point where I could not stand constant pain in my mouth due to the lack of attention to my teeth.  So I took the step to find a de...

Dr. Vanderburg - I just wanted to say thank you! I feel so much better. I appreciate your patience with my fear of the dentist. If all dentists & doctors were like you, I wouldn't have a fear! Thanks for everything!

Welcome to Gentle Touch Endodontics

Thank you for choosing Gentle Touch Endodontics, the office of Dr. Kweli K. Carson and Dr. Aurelia Vanderburg.

We realize that many people are apprehensive about root canal treatment.  We strive to provide all of our patients with a comfortable and positive experience, using a gentle touch.  Our goal is to meet and exceed your expectations by providing excellent endodontic care in a courteous, professional and compassionate manner.

You have been referred to us because your dentist feels that you require the expertise of an endodontist (root canal specialist).  The doctor will carefully diagnose your dental condition, and will recommend the treatment options that will best suit your needs.

Remember, at Gentle Touch Endodontics, we live and work by the "Golden Rule."  We treat others as we would want to be treated - with respect, patience, kindness, compassion and courtesy.

State-of-the-art Technology

Gentle Touch Endodontics is equipped with the most up-to-date, high-tech endodontic technologies currently available.  We use Dental Operating Microscopes that magnify the tooth up to 20 times its normal size, allowing the doctor to meticulously clean every portion of the root canal system.  This will provide the best possible prognosis for complete healing of the tooth.  We also use digital radiography (x-rays), which provides our patients with the benefit of minimal radiation and high quality image presentation within seconds.

Our fully computerized, paperless office enables us to communicate smoothly and effectively with our patients, referring dentists, and insurance carriers.  All of this is made possible via TDO (The Digital Office) which uses a fully secure, 128 bit encryption system designed to protect sensitive information.  Rest assured, your private information is safe - this is the same encryption used by the banking industry.

We are very excited about our state-of-the-art facility, and invite you to call 301-604-ENDO to schedule a visit to our office.  We are located in the Maple Lawn Midtown Medical Arts Building in the beautiful Maple Lawn community in Howard County (near the intersection of Route 29 and Route 216).  We are just minutes from Columbia, Clarksville, Laurel, Burtonsville and Silver Spring.
